Also for another power plant in Poland, in the city Opole, Technimex and Corol have delivered valves.
In Opole a consortium is in charge of building two 900 MW units to Polska Grupa Energetyczna. Project management and design is in the hands of Alstom. Once operational, it will be Poland’s largest hard coal-fueled facility, and will supply electricity to the equivalent of two million homes.
Technimex and Corol are approved by Alstom and will supply among others concentric wafer butterfly valve DN600, DN700 and DN800, type 1120. Some of them are with EPDM vulcanized sleeve. The valves will have Auma gearbox and Sipos electric actuators and will be used in the cooling water pipeline.
